About instructor, Theresa Hall

Welcome to my studio, located at my home!  I have taught in Albuquerque for 16 years. I am a mother of two, & a grandmother. I have taught children in Sunday school, in preschool classes for the USO, and at community centers. I have taught art classes in museums, in my own home, & taught elementary ages up to high schoolers. I have taught homeschool groups, & community groups. As a big sister to six siblings, I grew up playing teacher to my not-always-so-willing young siblings! Later, I decided to major in art education at Grayson County College and Texas State University, and then later, interior design at the The University of North Texas. It all started when at five, I began my first private art classes!

I especially enjoy sharing my knowledge and excitement for art with children. My goal is to give them a creative outlet, further their artistic skills, stretch their imaginations, and have them learn something new in a different way. I cannot wait for you to see what your child is capable of creating, and how much they will enjoy doing so in my studio classes! My classes are designed for each individual child - whether they are just beginning art classes, or they are already wonderful artists/painters/sketchers. I meet each child where they are at, and help them further their talents & creativity. I just LOVE teaching art. Seeing those smiling faces on my students as they create is the absolute best!

Welcome to my studio & the art adventure!
